As the devastation of Hurricane Maria continues to plague Puerto Rico, citizens are stepping up and banding together by improvising in unusual ways. The impacts of Maria have been felt across the island and while phone lines, clean water, shelter and food are in scarce supply or simply nonexistent, survivors are working together to find daily necessities as they wait for the international community to send aid.
